Methodist Ladies’ College is one of Australia’s most respected and innovative schools, with over 2,000 students from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12.
Applications are invited from suitably skilled and motivated professionals for the full time, fixed term, one year position of Boarding House Supervisor commencing ASAP. Casual opportunities for employment are also being considered.
The underlying philosophy of Tiddeman Boarding House is to empower our boarding students to take charge of their learning, resulting in confident young women who create their own future. Boarding Supervisors are key members of the Boarding team and are jointly accountable for the welfare of approximately 110 students from Years 7 – 12, helping to support students and parents throughout the school. This position involves shift work, including weekends and some overnight stays on a rotating roster. Accommodation provided for overnight stays.
Boarding Supervisors are encouraged to develop a meaningful career path with the Head of Boarding within their first year in role. Career paths may be directed towards more senior positions with leadership responsibilities such as Boarding Co-ordinator as well as management positions such as Deputy Head and Head of Boarding. Alternatively, Boarding Supervisors may wish to gain teaching qualifications and their experience in Boarding will develop strong skills in managing student wellbeing responsibilities inherent in any teaching position.

Please note: staff may be required to work some additional days during non-term weeks to undertake duties including, but not limited to, preparing for the commencing Term. Staff will be remunerated accordingly.
